Architect + IT + Creative
I guess these three words describe most what I bring to clients and colleagues.

"Architect"
As a business architect, I tend to look at the now and the future from many different perspectives. I find the real challenge is finding the right perspective to take for the question you are asking. Too often opportunities and solutions are considered using a wrong aspect or dimension.

"IT"
From unpacking the first IBM PC to arrive at the office in 1982 to developing "new order" travel & hospitality websites, memorable projects have been driven by new information technology waves. The challenge has been to pull out from the hype what is really possible, add creative input and see what works for real.

"Creative"
At times, I sense a change and follow my instincts. Translating new ideas and concepts into meaningful content is not easy - hence the use of "bubbles and triangles." The key to effective dialogue is to find the right word, 2 X 2 slide or analogy that can make an idea travel.

When I'm not surfing the web or thinking through how an IT wave could affect professional services I spend my time sailing - natural really!

I hope to use my time with Web2Consultant LLP to see if Web 2.0 is a ripple or a tsunami for professional services.
